PERSONAL LEARNING NETWORKS
For those of you who are new to this concept, it is one of the driving forces behind some of the current educational pedagogy today. It is simply a way of collecting and connecting resources that help you learn more about your specific area of expertise, or a way for you to expand your knowledge base into new areas of expertise. You do this by building a network made up of resources that include, print materials, online resources, personal contacts (social networks), etc. There are lots of ways to do this and during this school year I will help you explore some, but for now here are a bunch of online resources you can use to get more familiar with the topic and to begin to assess tools you would like to use to build your own PLN.
